I’m a lesbian Aquarius living in Brooklyn, New York. I like to think about things and read about things. I enjoy writing, as well, and I’m a firm believer that we should talk about the things that matter to us and share our experiences — particularly as they relate to loneliness. Our connections with one another are important, and the Roots Of Loneliness Project is an endeavor that lends to that sense of connection. We are not as alone as we think we are. Categorizing loneliness was not something I had ever really considered until I started writing for the Roots of Loneliness project. Yet delving into loneliness, facing it, and contemplating it somehow softens and alters the very concept. I’m glad to be a part of this feat, as it is one that I find both riveting and fundamental to understanding life.
