I think because I’m much younger than him, sometimes I felt like I deserved more. We only went on vacation together twice. He paid for all the accommodation and most of the meals, while I paid for my own needs and occasionally for our meals. I just didn’t feel special (I know it’s wrong to expect that just because I’m younger).
Some time ago, he wanted to plan another trip, but I refused because my finances aren’t good right now. I hinted that I wanted him to cover my expenses too (I know that sounds shameless, deep down I felt entitled to it because I’m younger), but he didn’t want to. So now we’ve broken up.
I feel very lonely. I told him several times that I didn’t mind if we didn’t meet in person, as long as we could still chat, but he feels that’s not a real relationship (and honestly, I feel that way too). So what am I supposed to do? My financial situation isn’t good.
Sometimes I see women my age or even younger being fully provided by their partners, and it makes me very jealous. But maybe I’m just not worthy of a man like that.
It feels like my life stopped at 18, when I graduated from high school. I stopped dating at 15 and only started dating again around 24, with my last ex. I don’t have friends because I feel too lazy to socialize, but deep down I’m extremely lonely and I want to connect with people.
If anyone wants or needs someone to talk to, I can be your friend. You can tell me about your day or anything but nothing sexual is allowed. I won’t fake my reactions but I’m sorry if sometimes I overreact or get too excited. I’m just really, really lonely.
